Do not peel the plastic liner off fully. i didn’t realise that the back of film was sticky when i first tried to put on and so i pealed off the liner and the film stuck to itself and couldn’t be removed (this wasted 1.7m of it). instead what i found works great is to peel back the liner about 15cm and use tape to tape it down to stop the liner flicking back to where it was. then you can line up the film where you want it and slowly peel back the liner after it’s lined up while pressing out bubbles. make sure to use tons of soapy water, at first i didn’t use enough and this made it much harder to remove any bubbles but the more soapy water you use the easier it is to get nicer finish. the film works well for privacy although i got it for heat reduction (but haven’t seen if that works yet). in the image you see the outside of my window. the left has the film and the right doesn’t, so you can see the difference.
